Q: If the chicken essence used by the company is not irradiated, but the spices used in the chicken essence contain irradiated raw materials, does the ingredients list of the company's product label need to be indicated irradiation information? How to mark it?

A: According to the interpretation of 4.1.11.1 Irradiated food in the Implementation Guidelines for GB 7718, irradiated food must be indicated the word of "irradiated food" near the food name on the label. If certain ingredients of a food are irradiated, the words of "irradiated raw material", "irradiated" or "irradiated sterilization" must be indicated in the ingredients list on the label near the ingredient name.
